The name, “Topography Bowl,” ought to give you a fairly good hint about what is involved here. The Topography Bowl is a bowl that is shaped to look like a mountain range. If you fill it with salad it is supposed to give the impression of a lush green valley, while if you fill it with soup it is a lake.
