I don’t know if pwning is quite the word that I am looking for, but I must admit, the new 20,000RPM Raptor that they are allegedly working on has me excited. I am guessing that power consumption will be off the charts, but the 3.5-inch housing that encases the 2.5-inch drive is supposedly better equipped to deal with noise.

No word on pricing, but the 10,000RPM raptors are expensive, so you better believe that the 20,000RPM version is going to put the hurt on your finances. [engadget]
