This is a defining moment in my life, for you see it is the first time I have ever been called "dingleberry". My guess is that you should probably speak to your grandmother more often as she is probably a wealth of good advice.

Nice 'review' dingleberry. If I wanted an opinion about speeders I would have called my grandma.

I have this radar detector and it is awesome. The AI is amazing as it cut down on false alarms. My daily 20 mile drive back and forth to office alarm free unless there is eager smokey lurking around. Also, I drive in Manhattan every other week. You will be surprised how many camera there are in the city.

As far as the "speed kills" deal goes, I have been to at least 1 defensive driving class a year for the last 3 years, all for speeding. The defensive driving instructors have said that the most hazardous drivers are the ones that are driving too slow. The 1st 2 defensive driving instructors were police officers and the 3rd instructor was a driving teacher. You can take from this what you will. I will be purchasing the 9500ix Radar Detector and hopefully there will not be a 4th defensive driving class.

As far as speed limits and receiving high cost tickets, areas where I live is very susceptible, I am quite aware of this fact and have already got a similar radar detector like this one. I would request everyone to get a radar detector both for safety and security concerns!
