MindMapper is a set of productivity software, which I confess that I have never heard of; possibly but not necessarily because I am not a young man anymore. If you are a MindMapper user or are considering purchasing the suite, however, you may be pleased to know that it now comes in a shiny, gold plated, USB version.

MindMapper aside I think that putting productivity software in portable media is an excellent idea. For one thing, if your software requirements are a little flexible, it allows you to take your workstation anywhere (without the expense of a laptop); and that is nice. Still, I would like to see more downloadable USB versions, so that you don’t need to buy a separate drive for every program that you use.
