The Vmod is a cool device that establishes a Wi-Fi connection between your house and your car. The benefit of that is being able to download music and videos from your home network, without physically plugging anything into your car. It comes with a 40GB HDD and a light version of the greatest operating system on the planet (Windows XP).

Call me a luddite, but I am happy that my car is not Internet capable. Maybe if I lived in it i would reconsider my thoughts on the matter, but while I have a roof and four walls, that is not an issue. That being said, I could see myself getting something like the Vmod for the simple fact that it is an easy way to get some good tunes and/or videos into your car entertainment system. Oh, and it comes with a Bluetooth remote, so you can control your viewing or listening from anywhere in the vehicle.
