Chapstick Flashlight, a Nice, Easy DIY ProjectStumble This


If you are bored and looking for a quick DIY project to kill an hour or two, you could try making yourself one of these chapstick flashlights. It looks easy enough, though you might find it a little fiddly considering the size.

The components that you need follow below:

ChapStick Tube
Tactile Switch
A23 Battery (12V)
470-Ohm Resistor
10mm White LED (28,500mcd, 20mA, 3.5V)
Solder
Heat Shrink Tubing
Wire
“N” Battery Holder
J-B Weld
