There was a time that I seriously considered buying a physics card, now I am really glad that I didn’t. The upcoming driver update for GeForce 8000, 9000, and 200 series cards will include hardware physics processing capabilities that come to us thanks to Nvidia’s acquisition of Ageia. The 177.79 Forceware drivers will be released on the 12th, which means that yours truly is going to have to wait a week to see what all this physics goodness looks like. [Tech Report via CrunchGear]
