The Tom Bihn Checkpoint Flyer Laptop Briefcase is pretty much just a laptop bag, but it is designed with security checkpoints in mind. The manufacturer claims that it requires only three-seconds of preparation for the checkpoint procedure.
If you travel with a laptop then you are no doubt aware that things can be a bit of a chore. You have to remove your laptop from the case every time because the X-Ray machines cannot see through all of the bundles of wires. Depending on the airport, you may have to go through more than one security screening. It is not a lot of fun. That’s why we are seeing more and more laptop bags coming out with travel in mind.
The thing is, it will likely take a bit of time before the security goons catch up; they don’t tend to be the most understanding of people (a fact to which I can most certainly attest), so you will probably have to get that laptop out more often than not despite the cases checkpoint-friendly design.

I hate pulling out my computer every time I’m at the airport. I’ll have to check out that bag. Thanks for letting me know about it.
