24 Hour Laptopping, the HP EliteBook 6930pStumble This

HP are making the rather audacious claim that their HP EliteBook 6930p can hold up for 24-hours of use on a single charge. This was all accomplished with a new high-capacity battery and a new screen and they probably avoided running processor-heavy apps but it is the type of battery life that dreams are made of. No more cramming your bags with extra batteries when you go traveling; no more external battery packs.

It will be interesting to see how close to the 24-hour mark HP hit when it comes to real-world conditions, but it is exciting news to say the least. Anything has to be better than my 1hr 50min of Mac Book Pro time. Expect to see the HP EliteBook 6930p in all of its glory sometime in October. [HP via TFTS
