72-Foot Egg Drop Thanks to Beta Gel


My school science egg drop entries always worked a little better at home than they did in the competition, but if I had access to some Betagel, that would be a different story. The substance is the creation of Tokyo-based Geltec Corporation and has endless applications in the protective clothing sector. The video after the jump shows the testing of Beta Gel, including a 72-foot egg drop.
