On the surface it sounds like a good idea – combine a cooler with a stereo, throw some wheels on it and you have a rolling party center right? The BoomCooler packs some punch, what with a 10” sub, dual 6”x9” speakers 600-Watt amp and CD player and all – it seems to fit the bill, until you read the disclaimer; not suitable for wet storage. Yes folks, they actually built a cooler that can’t hold ice.

The only way you are going to chill your beers in one of these is if you spend a bit of extra coin and buy some dry ice (they call it “dry” ice for a reason). Otherwise you are just going to have to throw your bottles or cans in fresh from the fridge and hope for the best. Your really would expect more from a $900 mashup such as this.
