Emergency Response Studio, an Environmentally Sustainable TrailerStumble This

Paul Villinski’s Emergency Response Studio is a solar-powered trailer that is designed to be used as a mobile studio. The trailer that formed the basis for the design was salvaged and it was built with the intention of allowing artists to quickly establish themselves in post-disaster areas so that they can start creating - because you know that people need freshly-produced modern art like they need food or water.

As ridiculous as the basis for the project sounds, the Emergency Response Studio is actually designed very well. It is built from green materials and comes with a 1.6kW solar power system, which is supplemented by a wind turbine that sits atop a 40-foot mast. When the weather is nice and the insects are not biting, a wall section can fold down to become a deck and a large skylight provides headroom and means that lighting requirements will be kept to a minimum during the day.
