I don’t like people messing with my computer when it is out of my possession, but I think the presence of a large mousetrap style device would only encourage people to test whether it was real or not. If it wasn’t, it would only encourage further meddling. On the other hand, if it did as it was supposed to then your would probably find yourself digging into your meager savings to settle a costly civil claim. So this can probably be considered a cool design, but it is almost certainly a bad idea. [Yanko via Tech E Blog]
