Super Secure Laptop Concept Features Potentially Wrist-cramping Security Knob

This concept laptop, which is the work of one Nicolas Lehotzky includes an enormous security knob, which is fingerprint activated and acts as a physical lock for the computer. The laptop also hides the USB ports and features a built in paper shredder. It doesn’t look like a whole lot of thought has gone into the ergonomics of this thing, but if you are the paranoid type, then this could be for you. [Awesomer via Slippery Brick]

    Thanks for publishing this.

I am the designer behind this conceptual design. Please not that it was made to explore potential solutions for future products, rather than a ready to market product. Granted, some of the features might seem over the top, but I hope they might lead to other ideas.

By the way, the metal button zooms down when not in use, it would not remain in the way!
