Some things really are so simple that they should be tried. The picture above is a bottle opener in the African nation of Togo. Apart from the beaded handle it is just a stick and a screw and makes me feel kinda stupid for all of the dumbass alternatives that I have tried when there have been no bottle openers in the house.
