Did you know that the typical household sink carries more germs than a toilet bowl? It is a disgusting fact that I know thanks to my man Dr. Karl Kruszelnicki. But I digress. This is about the sink plate, which is designed to simulate the eating over the sink experience, presumably because some people have a thing for it.

While the sink plate does look pretty cool, I have to say that it is totally lacking in class; I mean if you are going to eat over the sink why not just eat over the stove or straight out of the frying pan – either option is cleaner. [Yanko Design]
