If your eyesight is not what it once was, or if you have to read masses and masses of text looking for tiny punctuation inconsistencies and the like, then there is some utility in a full page magnifier. I don’t quite like the idea of having one hanging around my neck though. This “hands-free” magnifier works thanks to a 3-1/2x-power plastic lens also comes with legs, which though less convenient is a decidedly better look than the one that you see in the picture.

There must be a better way. Oh wait there is, it’s called an e-book reader, failing that there is also something called a computer. But in fairness, the woman in the picture is using this for embroidery, for which it might be useful.
