This might have just been a “because I can” mod from the maestro Ben Heck, but it is extremely cool. He has taken an old Atari 2600 joystick, gutted it, added some extra buttons, a circuit board and the innards of a Guitar Hero controller, and turned it into a X-360 controller.
Unfortunately, it can’t play 360 titles, but it can play a few Xbox Live Arcade titles, which is probably for the best, because I don’t see tiny buttons on the front being all that conducive to good gaming. [Ben Heck via HackADay, Technabob]
