Lenovo IdeaCenter A600 All-in-One Desktop Aims Squarely at iMac

The Lenovo IdeaCenter A600 all-in-one desktop is most definitely taking a leaf out of the iMac book, but given the cheaper cost of non-Apple parts, it just might be an iMac killer. It comes with a choice of Core 2 Duo processors, 21.5″ 1920×1080 full HD screen, optional Blu-ray, up to 4GB of DDR3 RAM, optional ATI Radeon graphics card (not sure what one), up to 1TB of HDD space, facial recognition technology, and a motion sensitive remote control cum gaming controller (a la Nintendo Wii) that can also be used as a VOIP handset.

The price starts from $999, but it is heavily customizable so we are assuming that one could part with a lot more if he or she chose to do so. It is a very nice unit, and as long as it is priced below the iMac, it is a system I would definitely consider getting. One thing that I do hope though, is that all-in-one manufacturers start including an extra HDMI out, so we can get some dual screen action going. [Engadget]
