Logitech has a bunch of sweet gaming offerings at CES 2009 and by a bunch I mean three new ones, but they are sweet. The picture shows you four peripherals, but as the G13 Game Board is already available, I am leaving it out. What we are left with is the G19 Keyboard for Gaming, G35 7.1 channel headset and the G9x Laser Mouse.
The G19 Keyboard for Gaming is essentially just another gaming keyboard, it has 12 programmable keys. What sets it apart is the “tiltable” 320×240-px color LCD that can be used to:
display VoIP communication data, clock, CPU load, and other non-game related things like pictures or video. The keyboard has 12 fully programmable G-keys with three macros per key, and should be available in March.
The Logitech G35 Surround Sound Headset features 7.1 channel sound and comes with voice-morphing software, which bound to be popular with squeaky-voiced 12-year-old gamers.
The Logitech G9x Laser Mouse is pretty much a rehash of the G9, but they have upped the sensor to 5,000 dpi and moves at “up to 150 inches per second) – great if you are navigating a massive screen, but overkill for most monitors.
The G19 Keyboard for Gaming, G35 Surround Sound Headset and G9x Laser Mouse are priced at $199.99, $129.99 and $99.95, respectively.
