Mark Dalzell’s Fabulous Steampunk GuitarStumble This

Steampunk might be a little overplayed of late, but I have to say that this effort at a steampunk guitar by artist Mark Dalzell is a pretty good one. It has just the right mix of hammered brass and clockwork to make it look good. [Brass Goggles]

Although personally I’d say dobro style resonator guitars seem even more steampunk due to the traditional guitar shaped wooden box being mixed with a violin style cut-outs (the “f-holes” as they’re called—yeah, I know it sounds bad) and the slotted metal bowl on the front where the sound hold should be.
