While the crew of the Pirate Bay are finding themselves in trouble with Swedish authorities, Forbes has made the observation that with Google Torrent Search, Google is very efficient at finding torrents at various trackers around the world.
While searching for a torrent through a torrent search engine will yield plenty of irrelevant results, searching through Google will get people exactly what they want. The difference is that when you find something on a torrent site you are effectively one click away from downloading, Google will put you two clicks from the prize; one mouse click away from Swedish jail.
Not that Swedish prison looks all that bad, especially when compared to prisons in other countries (Frank Abagnale Jr. spoke favorably of his Swedish incarceration). Prisoners in Sweden are very well treated and not subjected to the same brutal environment as stateside convicts. The title shot is what is described as a normal Swedish cell. [Forbes via Lifehacker]
