The Veritas Dovetail Gang Saw is infinitely better suited to someone who has the ability to produce beautiful things out of wood than someone who could hardly bang together a spice rack, but it sort of has me wanting to give amateur carpentry another try. [Lee Valley via ToolMonger, BBG]

I love it when “journalists” check their sources. and the dates of release of a story.
Should’a checked the date….April 1st, and the 6th of a string of well put together, but non-the-less joke, tools.

Wow, I am truly scolded.
My writing ability is certainly not up yours, but I have to wonder why you attack my prose? I did not offer the slightest criticism of how you write.
I did point out that anyone who is writing as a journalist should be fact checking. Judging from the virulence of your attack on me I would guess you were embarrassed.
That’s easy to avoid – check facts.

Don’t take it personally, I work insane hours and sometimes that brings out the worst of my temper, plus I am a teacher and scolding is one of the things that I do best.
Praising my virility will earn you a pass on the malicious use of quotation marks in your first comment. As for embarrassment, that is something us “journalists” cannot succumb to too easily if we want to earn a crust from online media. There are time pressures with tech stuff which forces pretty much everyone to cut corners some of the time; even the guys working sites that have a bunch of writers vetting every story.
For the record, I was not attacking your prose, I was just a little put out by the snark. Your writing ability seems to actually be pretty good, you can express an opinion and you have a good conversational style. You should try doing an op-ed piece sometime.
