We have seen all manner of Wi-Fi detecting devices in the past, but nearly all of them verge on the ludicrous. There really is no good reason why anyone would need Wi-Fi detecting shoes or a Wi-Fi detecting T-shirt. On the other hand, a a Wi-Fi detecting pen works.

The USB Fever model shows B and G signal strength at nearby hotspots when a button is pushed and as a pen it is not something that is going to make you look like an enormous douche (like the guy in the shirt and the shoes).
