The Manual Hard Drive Destroyer takes a brute force approach to destroying your old HDDs. You put the hard disk into the Hard Drive Destroyer, set a height adapter if required and give the handle eight full turns. What you are left with is a hard drive with a 90-degree bend in it (which meets government specifications for emergency destruction).
While it does render your HDD unusable, it does not destroy the data. If you really want to get rid of your data then you are going to need a degausser, but this should be enough to keep Joe Schmo from invading your privacy and it does look like tons of fun.
