Zero MX: Zero’s Electric Motorcross Bike

The Zero MX is a fine peace of electrical vehicle engineering. They have packed an electric motor into a lightweight motorcross bike frame and thrown in some quality components to boot.

Having been tweaked for performance, Zero claims that the MX will keep up with its gas-powered counterparts.

laughable that they claim it will “keep up with it’s gas counterparts”. Maybe in a 0-60 drag race…but on a motocross track there is no way a brand new product like this no matter how good is going to keep up with any name brand motocross bike that has millions of dollars and 50 years of R&D into it.
Cool idea, but I’ll keep my 450cc gas powered mx bike while they improve this elec bike over the next 10+ years to catch up.
