My car battery has run out of juice plenty of times thanks to having the lights left on, or in one case being drained by a dashboard LED while I was on an extended vacation. Fortunately, I lived on a hill and had a small car, so I was able to pull off a one-man roll start when necessary.

A dead battery sucks and hooking up jumper leads is a total pain in the ass, which makes the Easy Quick Jumper an awesome idea. The truth is that I don’t need either of these devices anymore. I have not left my lights on since I can remember, and my car is regularly serviced so I have not had the need to deal with a dead battery, but some people don’t learn, who would probably benefit from one or the other of these devices.
