The LOLrioKart is the work of some foolhardy MIT students who decided that it would be a good idea to upgrade the wheels of an old shopping cart, give it some NiCd aircraft batteries, and a 15hp brushless motor and tweak it so that it can drive at 45mph.
Johnny Knoxville take note, this thing has Jackass 3 written all over it. What you need is two of them, a couple of broomsticks with boxing gloves stuck to the ends and voila shopping cart jousting at 45mph (that’s a combined speed of 90mph) – sure it will probably end badly, but as long as Steve O is in one of the carts, we will be entertained.

I like it. Anything that is fast AND dangerous gets my vote.
Good part for Mom and Dad is that before long they will not have to pay more tuition for the Driver.
