If you have a spare netbook battery lying around gathering dust, you could turn it into a portable charger for your iPhone. The hack author claims that it took 2 1/2 hours to get a full charge into his iPhone, leaving a 50% charge in the MSI Wind battery that he used for the job.

The video shows how the hack was performed, you might want to turn down the speakers to dull out what is without a doubt the most annoying soundtrack I have ever heard.
