Chris Woodward’s Glassy French Press: Minimalist PerfectionStumble This

frenchpress
It says something that in a world of uber-expensive coffee gadgets, a humble French press still makes some of the best coffee. It is a simple piece of technology, and it is the simplicity that makes the the coffee taste so good. There is no filter paper to tarnish the taste. So what does the Chris Woodward model bring to the table?

Woodward doesn’t reinvent the French press, it ain’t broke and he isn’t trying to fix it; what he does is make design a forethought when it so often an afterthought. Aesthetics aside, he also designs it to be used, it is made out of a single piece of glass (which makes it a little stronger) and framed in metal, and just as importantly, it is BPA-free.
