A music playing ottoman might seem like a pointless mashup made in hell, but when it comes down to it, it might not be so stupid after all.

An ottoman is the perfect shape and size to contain speakers and electronics, and its insides are typically wasted space anyway, so Michi Jung’s Music Chocolate kinda works. For my money, one would be better off hiding a large down-firing sub, but if you have limited space and want a discreet little music player that makes you comfortable at the same time, you could do worse.

You need to bring your own iPod to the party, which makes this more of an ottoman/iPod dock, but that’s just semantics. [Michi Jung via Craziest Gadgets]
