If you suck at lighting a fire in the best of times, these Giant Bear Claw matches could be useful. All you need is a rough surface to strike them against and something to light, be it a fireplace, a charcoal grill or a bonfire. The kindling is built in so there shouldn’t be too much messing around.
The only unfortunate thing about these matches/firelighters is that that they are rather expensive. At $3 a piece, you will want to use them sparingly, but they are probably worth it for the time that they save.
Price: $60 per box of 20. [Red Ferret]

$3.00 APIECE for a match? If you need these to light a fire there is no way you should be allowed near an open flame. Stick to oil heat. Or get one of those electric fireplaces that just LOOK like flames.
