The EC 280 MG is one radio controlled excavator that probably won’t be getting played with by kids. It is a 1:14.5 scale version of a Despe excavator and it isn’t made out of plastic.
The model is buit from powder coated CNC cut steel and weighs a staggering 62 pounds – heavy enough to do some damage. Movement comes by way of 6 motors powered by 4 x 7.2V Ni-MH rechargeable batteries.
