Persistence of Vision Business Card is Both Awesome and Awesomely Annoying

Here is a business card design that I love and hate at the same time. The Persistence of Vision cards were created by Jared Foster, an electrical engineer. His circuit board card shows his name, phone number and URL – which is what you want from a business card; but having to wave it around in front of your face to get all of those details is a lot of effort for someone to go to just to get your number.

They cost around $2 a piece to make and he was kind enough to post an Instructable for people that want to make their own. The only thing that I would do would be to print all of the core details onto the card somewhere. Managers are as lazy as the next guy, so you want those details to be easy to access or the job unless you want the job to go to Mr. much less impressive but easy to read business card.
