Not long ago, Wicked Lasers found themselves the target of a Lucasfilm lawsuit. Their lasers looked a little too much like light sabers for George’s liking – and the fact that just about everyone on the Internet had taken to referring to them as light sabers kind of helped things along.
Anyway, things worked out okay for the Wicked Lasers folks and they were able to keep doing what they were doing. Their new Sith Series does away with any pretense: it looks a lot like Darth Maul’s double-sided weapon and blasts 1W of laser power out of each end.
From the manufacturer:
High powered handheld laser features a second beam of intense power.
Use individually to fire a laser that reaches beyond the stars or connect them for a bipolar beam.
Use separately or secure each 1W Spyder 3 together via the Spyder interconnector to operate as a double bladed laser.
Dual Smartswitch safety technology prevents unauthorized access.
Personally, I don’t see the need for a double-sided laser. It seems unnecessarily dangerous, but if lasers are your thing maybe you can find a use for one.
Price: $599.95
