Possible saltwater on Mars

Scientists with NASA have announced this morning, that they may have found evidence of saltwater on Mars. At a news conference, they explained that the HiRISE camera on board the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter has taken some photos of white traces, which suggest such water exists, the traces seem to appear in the spring and fade in the winter.

These water flows are near the equator where warmer temperatures favor the formation of liquid water. They say this doesn’t prove any water actually exists on Mars, but it’s a good indication that it might.

Sadly, NASA haven’t provided any actual close-up photos of a beach on Mars, if there were one though, I’d like to think that there would be a solar panel bikini girl, of whom, we’re fans.
