The bookcase that you see above is the work of UK-based model maker msmuse101, with a little help from her father. Looking at closed, you could be forgiven for thinking that it opens into a walk-in closet, or something of the sort… looks can be deceiving, the TARDIS exterior is merely a facade and the doors open to reveal eight shelves of DVDs.

A cool idea, not just because it looks awesome, but also because storing books and DVDs behind a door keeps things nice and tidy, even when they’re not (well hers is but mine isn’t). [The RPF via Technabob]
