Anonymous has reportedly continued their revenge spree in spectacular fashion – targeting CBS.com, UniversalMusic.com, various sites in Brazil and Vivendi.

In the case of CBS.com, the attack was more significant than a simple DDoS. Anonymous gained complete access to CBS.com and left them with nothing but a single index page. Backups must have been on hand at CBS.com, because the site has since been restored. At the time of writing, Universal and Vivendi are still out of commission.

The Brazilian sites included Brazil’s federal district and Tangara da Serra city and a page belonging to a Brazilian singer.

The message from Anonymous: “If Megaupload is down, you are down too”.
