The Ultimate Collector Series R2-D2 in the Pipeline

If you like Lego and love everyone’s favorite feisty little droid, then this might be the enormous Lego model you were looking for.

The Ultimate Collector Series R2-D2 is made from 2,100 pieces of Lego. It has a couple of moving parts: a rotating head, a retractable third leg, and a bunch of onboard tools all tucked away in the appropriate places. It would be nice to have seen it automated, maybe radio controlled, but that would have pushed the price tag up even higher.
