Every School Should Have a Battlestar Galactica Viper Simulator

The Battlestar Galactica Viper Simulator that you see above and in the videos below is the work of a group of high school students who launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds to build it. The results of their work were displayed at Maker Faire 2012.

The simulator has 360-degree motion in all directions, three front screens, a control joystick, thrusters and a fully working cockpit laid out exactly the same as the “real” Battlestar Galactica Vipers.
