A guy named Scott has attempted to set a world record by popping one hundred balloons with a laser. The laser in question is a Wicked Lasers Spyder III Krypton 750-1000 mW laser and it was shone through something that is called a “burning lens” but that looks a lot like a magnifying glass to me.

Popping all those balloons looks like a lot of fun but I’m not really sure if there is any point in creating a record for something popping balloons with a commercially available laser but good luck to him.
