Microsoft Xbox Durango Dev Kit on the Bay

Someone is auctioning what he or she claims is a working Microsoft Xbox Durango dev kit with a 50GB Blueray drive – as you can see from the picture this is not a finished product, but the crucial hardware should be of more or less the same specifications as we will see in the next-generation Xbox.

The price is currently at $20,100 and there are six days left on the auction. You also have to contend with the possibility that the sale might not go through. This seems like something that Microsoft would be not too happy about and I’m guessing that any kits that they handed out to developers would have been given with extremely strict conditions attached.

In case you were wondering whether the item is legitimate or not, it is worth pointing out that the zero-rated seller responsible for the sale is a gentleman going by the name of SuperDae, who recently posted some interesting shots of the Kinect mk II on his Twitter account. It sort of makes me wonder if the Durango Kinect shot that he posted the other day was put up simply to draw more attention to his auction.

Price: >$20,000 [Source]
