Motorola Droid Razr Maxx HD, An Ugly Name For a Pretty Good Phone

iPhones are great and everything but if you are not altogether enamored with Apple’s latest effort, or the fact that they created a new dock connector that does basically the same thing and is roughly the same size as a Micro-USB port instead of just putting a Micro-USB port on there, then you could take a look at Motorola’s Droid Razr Maxx HD. Aside from the awful name, this looks to be a very good phone: a 4.7-inch Super AMOLED HD display, LTE networking, a 1.5GHz dual-core processor with 1 GB of RAM, an 8 megapixel rear camera, a front-facing camera, Android 4.0 and a Micro SD port… they’ve also thrown in a Kevlar back and a water-resistant nanocoating – but the real selling point is the battery, which carries enough juice for 32 hours of normal use.

Thirty-two hours might sound like overkill, but it makes things a lot easier if you spend a lot of time away from convenient sources of electricity and it is the difference between being able to play with your phone all the way through a long-haul flight and having to put your iPhone away and make do with the seat-back entertainment.

Price: To be announced. [Source]
