Except that sometimes I do and I don’t know what that says about my manhood, but I find that they are a useful way for setting the mood of an email or text – and they can go a long way toward avoiding misunderstandings – they can also be a lot of fun, especially if you own a Mac.

Zach Holman posted a great how to that among other things instructs you on the ins and outs of renaming your computer so that it appears on your network as a pile of poo and other cool little tricks that will not only broaden your understanding of emoji but also teach you a few things about OSX. If you are interested, open up Safari (Chrome and Firefox have no love for emoji) and head over to Zachholman.com.
