iPhone Hacker Lost Internship Because He Forgot to Reply to an Email

Nicholas Allegra, who you might also know as Comex jumped to fame a few years ago for his jailbreaking exploits – then broke many a heart by joining the enemy and accepting an internship at Apple. Anyway, the 20-year-old hacker made an announcement via Twitter on Thursday stating, “As of last week, after about a year, I’m no longer associated with Apple.”

It seems that he was invited, via email, to extend his employment with Apple. He apparently forgot to respond to the email and Apple terminated his employment, the decision would seem to be final. He seems to not be too disappointed after stating that “it wasn’t a bad ending.” As of yet there is no word on whether he plans to resume his jailbreaking ways, but Allegra has stated that he wants to focus on his studies at Brown University, so probably not. At any rate, he is out of Apple now, so who knows what could happen?
