As a huge fan of over-design and rabid hater of the unnecessarily expensive, the immodestly named “The Flask” from Oakley and The Macallen has me feeling more than a little conflicted.

I love pretty much everything about it: its laser welded steel center, the carbon fiber composite wrapping and the “aerospace grade” aluminum exterior. I especially love its screw-in funnel, which attaches to the mouthpiece to make sure no precious drops of whisky find themselves wasted. On the other hand, it costs $900.
