Octopus Opens a Jar From the Inside [Video]

Octopuses, or for you pretentious folks out there, octopi, are smarter than a lot of people realize – so smart in fact, that your author feels a twinge of guilt every time he puts a piece of one into his mouth. What makes these cephalopods special is that each of their tentacles literally has a mind of its own. When attached to the octopus they can work together and when chopped off, they can work separately. The video below is a prime example of one of the tricks that eight cooperating limbs are able to perform.
