Risk Coffee Table, Looks Awesome, Offers Clever Improvement

Do you like Risk? I used to – the thing that always bugged me about it is that it played out a bit like tic-tac-toe, with a luck element. People always rush to the places that have a single point of entry, and expand out from there. One person always gets wiped out early and has to impatiently sit, while the rest of the game is played out. Alliances are broken, friendships are tested and arguments are fueled. What is there to not love about risk?

That is beside the point – because today, we are looking at a gorgeous Risk coffee table that Redditor fightingcrime’s father created. As impressive as that is, I could not help but notice the extra lines, which add a second point of entry to all of the places that people usually start – not to mention the extra islands. Adding a few extra permutations would definitely make for a more interesting game.
