Unpickable Bike Lock Should Keep You Safe [Forever Lock]

locks-590x330

The Forever Lock is a bicycle lock that has been overengineered to the point of ridiculousness. It looks like a conventional U-shaped lock, but it keeps the key-hole out of reach of conventional lock picking tools. What’s more it requires a combination of actions in order to actually get the key inside the lock – which would also have the added benefit of locking out drunks. The video below shows how it works and how to get one.

At $140, the Forever Lock is rather pricey for a lock, but a mere fraction of the price of a new bike. Unfortunately, where I am from, you would probably need two – as people will steal your wheels.

Price: $140 via [Geek.com]
