The mice are constructed from sustainably harvested bubinga, makor, sapele, and ebony, with prices that may make you regret your pro-Earth convictions. They start just shy of $1000 and finish just short of $1300. But they do look good, don’t they?

The Pisa Tower shelving unit gets its name after the famous tower and borrows some of the aesthetics, but leaves the wonky design at the door. The unit is made up of nesting boxes that sit on top of each other when they are skewed. A bit of extra stability is provided by way of an elastic rope.

If you don’t need a shelf, it functions as a perfectly good side table. Pretty cool, especially if you are the sort that moves house a lot.

The Eye-Fi card makes it possible for people to wirelessly upload to their own computer, or if they have Internet access either at home or in a hotspot, to the bigger photo sharing sites. Now they have gone one step further and extended the support to FTP and FTPS servers.

What does that mean? It is painfully easy to turn a home computer into an FTP server, with a bit of hacking it is also possible to turn an Apple Time Machine into one; so with not too much work, it should be possible for people to be able to directly upload pictures to their own computers from anywhere.

If you want to set up your Eye-Fi card for FTP usage, follow these instructions.

If you are the sort of person that is scared about putting your fingers where others have been before, rejoice, as thanks to an inexpensive prophylactic pointer, you no longer have to touch things with your own skin.

According to the manufacturer:

Great for keypads/point-of-sale terminals in stores, ATMs, elevator buttons, gas station pump buttons, courier scanners, and more # Wide, flat round end for pushing mechanical buttons # Integrated stylus tip for tapping electronic buttons and for signing # Mounts on key ring for ready availability # Made of strong high quality polycarbonate ABS.

This silly product is presumably marketed at people deathly afraid of H1N1.
